On Tuesday 29th July, Lebanon Forward Institute launched with a press conference and speeches from our director, Dr. Ahmad El Zein, and various other distinguished members, including from Vanessa El Khoury and Jassem Ajaka.
LFI were pleased to accommodate numerous media outlets at the launch, including three television stations (NBN, Télé Liban and Al Mayadeen), one radio station and various news websites, in keeping with LFI’s goal to engage transparently with public media.
LFI were also honoured to welcome the Minister of Information, Attorney Paul Marcos, to the event and strive to nurture a strong relationship with policymakers and governmental figures.
At the launch, the members of LFI committed to rebuilding Lebanon’s economy, social fabric and long-term political stability by acting as a catalyst for positive change by equipping policymakers with strategic, data-driven proposals to foster a more stable future for the country.
LFI reaffirmed that their initial focus will reflect the urgent priorities of the country, including:
- Political reform and institutional renewal
- Strategic diplomacy to recalibrate Lebanon’s regional position
- Strengthening the rule of law in a post-crisis landscape
