With ensuing economic and political instability, Social policy in Lebanon has been fractured. Lebanese communities have been experiencing great upheaval with faltering social security, mistrust of government and increasing desire to emigrate.

Environmental stewardship and sustainability are key focuses for Lebanon as we look to provide policy proposals which can bring greater food and water security to our population while striving towards environmental sustainability.

  • Carry out research to shift Lebanon’s waste management from a linear to a circular economy model.

Lebanon has experienced great political paralysis since the 2020 Beirut port crisis and subsequent presidential election between 2022-25. Governance is opaque and corruption continues to afflict a functioning public sector.
