Dr. Khaled Mufid Al-Hajj is a distinguished author and political researcher, having recently authored and published the book ‘From the Shah’s Court to the Suburbs of Beirut’. He holds a Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary History from the Lebanese University, along with further postgraduate studies in Telecommunications and Informatics Engineering. His research spans history and telecommunications, and he is distinguished for his research on Lebanese political structures during the post-mandate period, including a analysis of the Lebanese Senate (1926-1927) and its role regarding Lebanon’s constitutional foundation. He has also examined the impact of the First Gulf War on Lebanese security within the context of regional and international balances.

In telecommunications, he has contributed to advanced research on improving data transmission in optical networks, particularly through the FastOFDM modulation technique, which enhances spectral efficiency and reduces interference.
