Shant Chinchinian

Shant Chinchinian is a Lebanese-Armenian politician, educator, and entrepreneur. He served as a Member of Parliament from 2009 to 2018, representing the Armenian seat in Zahle as part of the Lebanese Forces Party and March 14 movement. Since 2018, he has been the co-founder and director of SMC Security Services, a Lebanon-based firm specializing in protection, consulting, and security solutions.Born in 1979 in Zahle, Chinchinian holds a BA in Political Science from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) and an MA in International Politics and Security Studies from the University of Bradford. His early career included peacebuilding work with the Permanent Peace Movement and teaching roles in public and Armenian Catholic schools.
